摘要
分析了信号机制的特性,指出了早期信号机制的不足、原因及其解决方案,讨论了不可靠信号与可靠信号的分类,并以i386平台为例详细分析了linux-2.4.20版本标准内核中信号机制的底层实现,主要包括进程结构体中为支持信号机制而设立的结构及其功能,信号的组织与管理,信号的发送与接收过程,信号的检测与处理过程。
This paper analyzes the characteristics of signal mechanism,points out the deficiencies of original signal mechanism and its reasons.It also discusses the difference between undependable signals and dependable signals.Then I take the i386 platform as an example do an out and out analysis about the inside implementation of signal mechanism in the linux-2.4,20 kernel,including some structures that are used to support signal mechanism and their organization,the management of signals,the sending and receiving of signals, the detection and process of signals.
