除降低血脂和影响血糖反应外,燕麦膳食纤维还表现出其它生理功能,如影响肠道排空,减少营养素吸收,餐后延长饱腹感等;在大肠中,燕麦膳食纤维具有发酵能力,能产生短链脂肪酸,促进一些有益菌生长和增殖,该文综述以上几方面进展。
In addition to the well-known effects of reducing blood cholesterol and affecting glycaemic response, dietary fibre of oat bran has been shown to have numerous other physiological effects. It delays gastric emptying, diminishes absorption of nutrients, and prolongs satiety after the meal. In the large bowel, oat dietary fibre increases the fermentation activity, especially production of short fatty acid, enhances growth and colonisation of some probiotic bacterial strains. The paper documenting these effects is reviewed.
