The Method of Automatic Generation for HMI Software in Intelligent Instruments

A HMI （huinanmachine interface） module for intelligent instrument is introduced. The module is based on graphic dot matrix LCD, and can be used for implement software automatic generation. Through downloading the HMI software generated by computer configuration of de- veloped system into intelligent instruments. The functions of LED, keyboard control ,infrared remote control and communication with external host computer were completed. So that the development cycle of the intelligent instrument is shortened and the cost is reduced. The module has been successfully applied to the HMIs for all kinds of flow meter instruments.
