Regenerated cellulose fibers have broad market prospects thanks to their advantages in terms of raw material and performance. The article introduces the worldwide development of regenerated cellulose fibers and regeneration technologies, and anticipates the future development of regenerated cellulose fibers. It points out, new regeneration technologies, such as the technologies for producing lyocell fiber and cellulose carbamate fiber as well as Celsol and wet-spinning methods, have great market potential, representing the direction for future development of regenerated cellulose fibers.
