The Harmony and the Literary Ideas in the Pre-Qin Days

“和”作为表现文艺思想的词语,在先秦时期形成发展过程分三个阶段:一作为古人的自然观和社会观,它体现了一种价值判断标准;二作为音乐术语,它是自然观和社会观的延伸,成为衡量音乐的标准;三,在先秦文学思想中,“和”作为一个术语虽未用于对文学现象进行批评,但对诗与文的审美要求起到重要的影响。

Harmony, a word by which the ideas of literature and art are expressed in Pre--Qin days, is developed in three periods. Firstly, as an idea of nature and society, it displays a value standard. Secondly, as a technical term of music, it extends the idea of nature and society and becomes a standard of music judgment. Thirdly, though harmony is not used to criticize literary phenomena as a technical term in the literary ideas on the pre--Qin days, it greatly influences the aesthetic judgment on poems and works.
