On Starting and the Religion Sense in Modan's Poetry

穆旦诗歌中的宗教意识是在《约伯记》的影响下形成的,其要义在于诗人以神性的眼光来看待个体生命在社会历史境域中遭遇到的痛苦与混乱,使之变成了信仰领域中的真理,从而超越了现代启蒙思想的桎梏,超越了同时代人的思想和艺术局限,为个体生命拓展出了一片全新的生存空间。《出发》之后,穆旦对神性生存境域的探索虽然在历史压力之下走向了终结,但诗人的探索却对中国现代思想中的个体生存真实问题提出了质疑和批判。

The religion sense in Modan＇s poetry had come into being upon the influences of Job, the doctrines of which lied in the poet had observed the individual＇s sufferings and chaos in then society to the deiform eye to turn out the truths in the religion circle, to surpass the restrictions of the modern enlightenment and the thinking and artistic limitations of an age and to broaden a fresh existing room for the individual life. After writing the poet Starting, Modan had stepped into his end of probing into the destined living fields, but his probing results have been challenging and criticizing the true questions of individual existence in the field of modern Chinese thoughts.
