论明清小说续书的接续方式

Methods in Continuation of Ming and Qing Novels

小说续书是文学史上常见的现象,明清小说续书与原著在接续方式上各具特色,大体可以分为“顺续”、“截续”、“转世”、“后代”和“借续”等五种方式。对续书接续方式的科学分类有利于深入探讨续书创作的规律和特征。

Continuation of an existent novel was common in the history of literature and Mint and Qing novels were continued by five methods, i.e. consequent continuation, mid-way continuation, reincarnation continuation, descendant continuation, and character continuation. This classification of methods is useful for further research in the tendencies and features of novel continuation.
