摘要 Amid much fanfare, Vogue magazine unveiled its Chinese edition in August 2005. It represents another licensing deal between a Chinese publishing house and a foreign publisher. In Vogue's case, Conde Nast licenses and supplies copyrighted works to Beijing-based People's Pictorial, which then translates the material and complements them with locally-produced material to make what is now known as Chinese Vogue,
