浅谈实际汇率与中国的对外竞争力

Real exchange rate and China's international competitiveness

实际汇率是衡量一国从事国际经济活动竞争力的最主要的指标之一,它是随着购买力平价理论的发展而出现的。近年随着中国加入WTO,国际竞争力成为人们关注的焦点之一。本文通过计算中国1991至2005年的实际汇率,得出中国对外竞争力的变化趋势,用实际的净出口额变化情况与之相对照,来验证在中国市场经济条件下,以实际汇率作为衡量对外竞争力的指标的有效性。

The real exchange rate is one of the main index, whick indicates competitiveness of one country＇s engagement in international economic activities. It appears with the development of the purchasing- power parity theory. After China＇s entry of WTO ,people pay more attention on the international competitiveness. Base on the real exchange rate data from 1991 to 2005, the paper draws the tendency of China＇s international competitiveness, contrasts the expert quantity and real exchange rate, as well as attempts to test the effectiveness of real exchange rate as international competitiveness index under the Chinese market economy.
