A fiber optic communication system is introduced by using CWDM to realize wide data transmission, including video signals, network signals and data signals. The design and implementation method is demonstrated in detail, including the principle of encoding/decoding and generation and extraction of synchronization codes using CPLD. This system has been applied to a scientific re,arch project. In the project, it realized wide data transmission successfully, and worked steadily.
