摘要
从小波变换出发,结合图像小波变换的特点,对小波在图像压缩领域的应用作了介绍.指出小波变换对图像处理最大的贡献就在于它提供了更大的选择空间,可以结合人眼的特性进行有目的的处理,进而使图像数据压缩可以在最基本的层面———人的需要上进行.
Recently, in signal processing field, the discrete wavelet transform is used widely. This essay is about the application of wavelet decomposition algorithm in image compression. According to the features of wavelet coefficients, the most important thing is that we can arrange the coding algorithm combined with the requirements of our vision, which directly leads to the application that can compensate the deficiencies of traditional compression algorithm well.
