意境与弗罗斯特名作《雪夜林边停留》——兼与柳宗元《江雪》比较

"Yijing" and Robert Frost's Masterpiece Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening:In Comparison with Liu Zongyuan's Snowy River

意境是艺术家的审美体验、情趣、个人理想和情操与提炼加工后的物象融为一体后所形成的艺术境界。就诗歌而言,"意境"就是"诗境",它是通过"物境"和"心境"来表现诗人的价值取向和审美追求。意境理论是中国古典诗学所特有的理论。《雪夜林边停留》是美国诗人弗罗斯特最重要的作品之一,不同的批评家对它有不同的解读和分析,本文以"意境"理论并对照我国唐朝诗人柳宗元的名作《江雪》来阅读这首诗歌,发现该诗在异域文化背景下依然释放出无穷的魅力。

＂Yijing＂ is an important and peculiar Chinese classical artistic theory. It is an artistic goal that artists pursue by means of the unification between artists＇ personal aesthetic experience, taste, ideal, morale and refined images. Therefore, it tells that emotions and images should he harmoniously associated. Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening is a masterpiece by the American poet Robert Frost. A considerable number of critics have tried varieties of literary means to analyze it. It is the first time that Chinese poetics has been employed to interpret this foreign poem, together in comparison with Chinese ancient poem Srvowy River by Liu Zongyuan in Tang Dynasty.
