摘要 语境的内涵主要包括上下文、社交及文化等语境知识。语言和语境密不可分,语言总是在一定的环境中产生,对语言意义的理解不能脱离语境。语言教学的目的不仅要使学生掌握语言的规则和结构,更要使学生在此基础上善于根据语境使用语言。语境教学能极大地帮助学生理解语义,并培养他们运用语言的能力。 Context mainly includes knowledge of co-text, social situation and cultural situation. Language and context are inextricably bound up with each other. People' s language activity cannot be detached from its context and context is indispensable for understanding of words. The aim of language teaching is not only to let students grasp the principles of the language they learn, but also to make them be able to use the language itself. In English classes, teaching in context will help them a lot to understand the meaning of language and to use the language in appropriate situations with exact words to express themselves.
