摘要
通过对英语缩略语的语言学价值的探讨,说明了缩略语作为一种文字表现方式,在当代社会中起着不可替代的作用,它不但丰富了英语表达能力,还对世界上多种语言文字表达形式做出了贡献。
English abbreviations are becoming more and more important in the information society. The writers intend to present their linguistic value and also points out that it is necessary to research it deeply with the development of economic globalization.
