The new technique to produce galvanized steel tape by continuous bright electrolysis using sulphate is presented. The principle of the process, process flow, technical characteristics and main properties of the product are analysed and summarised. By eliminating the defects in quality of the traditionally made products, the new product satisfies the need for the production of armoured cables.
