The relationship between apolipoprotein E gene polymorphism and cerebral hemorrhage in the elderly males and females

摘要 目的探讨载脂蛋白E(apoE)基因多态性与不同性别老年脑出血患者的相关关系及临床意义。方法采用聚合酶链式反应-限制性片段长度多态性方法测定174例老年脑出血患者[(脑出血组),其中,110例男性、64例女性]和211例体检的非心脑血管疾病人群[(对照组)其中,116例男性、95例女性]的apoE基因多态性。结果男性脑出血组apoE基因型频率E3/3、E3/4、E3/2和E2/4分别为70.0%、18.2%、10.0%、1.8%,未发现E4/4和E2/2;女性脑出血组apoE基因型频率E3/3、E3/4、E3/2、E2/4和E2/2型分别为79.7%、6.3%、10.9%、1.6%、1.6%,未发现E4/4。全部和男性脑出血组和对照组之间apoE基因型和等位基因频率的分布差异无显著性(P>0.05)。女性脑出血患者的apoE3/4基因型和ε4等位基因频率明显低于同性别对照组(P<0.05)。结论apoE基因多态性与老年女性脑出血发生相关;ε4等位基因可能是老年女性发病的遗传易患因素。 Objective To investigate the correlation between the apolipoprotein E(apoE) gene polymorphism and cerebral hemorrhage in the male and female elderly. Method Polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism(PCR-RFLP)was used to determine apoE genotype in elderly cerebral hemorrhage group including 110 males and 64 females,and in elderly healthy control group including 116 males and 95 females. Results There was no significant difference in apoE genotype and allele distribution between cerebral hemorrhage patients and control group in all and male subjects ( P 〉 0.05). apoE3/4 genotype and ε4 frequencies showed a lower frequency in the cerebral hemorrhage group compared with the control group in female subjects ( P 〈 0.05). Conclusion These results suggested that the apoE gene polymorphism had effect on cerebral hemorrhage in elderly female, apoEε4 might be a genetic factor of cerebral hemorrhage in elderly female.
