Syntheses and Photoluminescence Properties of Dy^(3+)-Acetylacetone-1,10-Phenanthroline Ternary Complexes Doped with Rare Earth Ions

摘要 合成了三个系列稀土掺杂镝乙酰丙酮(Hacac)邻菲咯啉(phen)三元配合物RExDy1-x(acac)3phen(RE=La,Y,Gd;x=0,0.10,0.20,0.30,0.50,0.70,0.90,1.00),通过紫外光谱、红外光谱、X射线粉末衍射对配合物进行了表征。对各系列配合物进行荧光光谱研究,发现La3+、Y3+、Gd3+对Dy3+离子均有荧光增敏作用,它们对Dy3+离子的荧光增强顺序为I(La3+)>I(Y3+)≈I(Gd3+)。当x=0.10~0.30,所有掺杂配合物的荧光强度都大于未掺杂的配合物Dy(acac)3phen的荧光强度。 Rare earth complexes with organic ligands, such as β-diketone, often show efficient photoluminescence (PL) because of the strong absorption of the organic ligands and efficient energy transfer from the triplet state of ligands to rare earth ions under the excitation of near ultraviolet light. The introduction of another ligand and addition of La^3+ , Y^3+ or Gd^3+ can considerably enhance the fluorescence intensity of rare earth complexes. In recent years, there has been considerable interest in the luminescence properties of Eu^3+ and Tb^3+ complexes, but little attention has been paid to the Dy^3+ complexes. In this study, three series of solid complexes RExDy1-x(acac)3phen (RE = La,Y,Gd; x = 0, 0.10, 0.20, 0.30, 0.50, 0.70, 0.90, 1.00) were obtained by the reaction of acetylacetone ( Hacac), 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) and mixed rare earth chloride of DyCl3 and REC13 in 95% CH3CH2OH solution. These complexes were characterized via IR, UV spectra and XRD. The results showed that the two O atoms of acacand the two N atoms of phen coordinate with RE^3+, and these complexes have similar structure. The PL properties of these complexes were also studied. The relation between their PL intensities and the content of doped ions is also discussed. The experimental results showed that the PL intensities of Dy^3+ complexes were enhanced after doping La^3+ , y^3+ or Gd^3+ When x is within the range between 0.10 and 0.30, the PL intensities of all doped complexes are stronger than that of the pure Dy^3+ complex Dy (acac) 3 phen. Furthermore, among these three rare earth ions, La^3+ is better than Y^3+ and Gd^3+ in sensitizing the fluorescence of Dy^3+.
