加强党的先进性建设是社会主义新农村建设的根本要求,通过党的先进性建设推进社会主义新农村建设,要紧紧围绕社会主义新农村建设的主题,切实搞好农村党组织和党员的先进性教育活动;要结合农村实际,分析解决影响农村经济社会发展的突出问题,提高农村党组织在社会主义新农村建设中的凝聚力、战斗力和创造力;要深入研究,勇于实践,探索建立、健全社会主义新农村建设实践中党的先进性建设的长效机制。

Building up the Party＇s progerssiveness is a fundamental requirement for building a new socialist countryside. In advancing building a new socialist countryside by enhancing the Party＇ s progressiveness, we should focus on building a new socialist countryside and do well in carrying out education to retain the progrvssiveness of patty organizations and party members in rural areas. We should analyse and solve the outstanding problems affecting economic and social development in rural aress to increase the cohesiveness, fighting power and creativity of the Party. We should study in a deepgoing way, dare to practise and explore a long- term mechanism for retaining the progressiveness of the Party in building a new socialist countryside.
