Lin Zexu and the Sun Three Generations of Jining

清代道咸年间,民族英雄林则徐与孙玉庭、孙瑞珍、孙毓氵桂祖孙三代人共事交往,结下三世友情。林则徐与孙氏三代人皆为朝廷命官,其一切行为都是为维护清朝统治。他们共同致力于“安内”即“安民,如江浙治水、云南平乱”等。林与孙氏之交往,说明了一个很实际的问题,即善于发现人才,大胆重用人才,为其打造成长发展的平台,使之为国为民发挥更大的作用。

During Daoguang and Xianfeng years of the Qing Dynasty, the national hero Lin Zexu associated and made friends with the Sun three generations of jining Sun Yuting,Sun Ruizhen and Sun Yugui . Lin and the Sun three generations were all the importantofficials in the imperial court, who did everything to support their country. Theyconcentrated on reassuring the public, namely, protecting the people. They did many thingstogether, such as ＂harnessing the river in Jiangsu and Zhejiang Provinces＂, and ＂putting down the rebellion in Yunnan＂ and so on. The association of Lin and the Suns explained a very actual problem, that is, we should be good at discovering the talented persons , be brave to put them in a key position and make them the opportunities of growing up and developing themselves, so that they can play the more important role in serving the people and the nation.
