The universities in china are in rapid development period. Both the number of students and the investment scale have been increasing. Under the condition of raising funds through multi - channel , that how to improve the work of financial management and how to make the university strong and great are the problems to be resolved urgently for each university. This paper discusses mainly about the importance and principle of financial management, and about the way to improve the efficiency of financial management and so on.
