摘要介绍了DILIGENT的基本情况和体系结构;着重讨论了DILIGENT的虚拟数字图书馆的创建和管理,它分成5个功能块:虚拟数字图书馆管理、资源管理、虚拟组织管理、用户管理和通知管理,这5个功能块共同协调完成虚拟数字图书馆的创建和管理功能。 This paper introduces the basic status and architecture of DILIGENT and discusses virtual digital library creation and management of DILIGENT that is partitioned in five main areas： virtual digital library management, virtual organizations management, resources management, users management, notification management. These five main areas cooperate to fulfill virtual digital library creation and management.
