糖尿病是目前严重危害人类健康和生命的慢性疾病。多项临床观察表明,适量、中等度饮酒可降低糖尿病发病风险,改善血糖控制,降低糖尿病心血管并发症发病风险。其可能机制包括适量饮酒升高机体高密度脂蛋白-胆固醇水平,增加胰岛素敏感性,减轻体内慢性炎症状态等。
Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease which threatens the well-being of mankind. Many clinical trials have indicated that moderate alcohol consumption is associated with a lower incidence of diabetes, improved control of blood glucose and reduced risk of cardiovascular complications. The underlying mechanism may involve changes in high density lipoprotein, improved insulin sensitivity and alleviated chronic systemic inflammation.
