According to the character of high theoretical density and great difficulty of the fundamental engineering curriculum, and relating class teaching and students＇studying procedure, this paper deeply analyzes the major factor which affects on the teaching and important components that needs concerning. It also analyzes how to improving the teaching quality of fundamental curriculum of engineering major in different angles such as teacher＇s qualification, teaching procedure, teaching material construction, the right using of multimedia teaching, and so on.
