上海市农业科学院食用菌研究所成立于1960年，是我国建所最早、学科齐全、综合技术力量较强的食用菌研究所。经历了四十多年的艰苦创业，已获得几十项国家、农业部、上海市的发明奖和科技进步奖，在国内外的各类期刊杂志上发表了1000多篇学术论文。选育出的优良菌种、研制出的高产优质栽培技术已辐射全国各地，有的甚至还输出国外。

Institute of Edible Fungi （IEF）, Shanghai Academy of Agricultural Sciences was founded in 1960. Since its establishment, the institute has endeavoured to build strong ties with university educational and nesearch systems. and to integrate with established mushroom industries. The IEF has developed new enterprise downstream activities. and its own biotechnology research and development programmes for new products and services. Given its strong basis in mushroom technology development, it is the object of the institute to access additional capital with the intention of establishing new and expanding existing national and international strategic corporate alliances.
