《红楼梦》人物的死亡方式及其意蕴

《红楼梦》里写了很多死亡的人物。他们的数量很多,身份多种多样,分布于社会的各个阶层;他们的身影无处不在,贯穿于作品故事的始终,所以死亡人物是《红楼梦》一书的骨肉和灵魂。如何安排和描绘死亡人物,是作品布局谋篇的关键。就作品人物死亡方式来看,作者主要选择了病死和自杀两种方式来安排人物的死亡。其中的贵族上层人物大多数都是病死,下层贫民人物基本上都是自杀。这种不同死亡方式的安排设计包含着丰富深刻的意蕴,既真实地反映了那个时期的社会现实,又体现着中国古典小说艺术的发展变化进程。

People＇ s death is ruaning through the whole story. It is the soul of the novel. So how to arrange and describle people＇ s death is the crux of the whole stroy. The novel chooses two ways of how people die illness and suicide most of the upper-classes die of illness, but the low classes die of suicide. The different ways of people＇ s death imply a lot. They reflect the social reality as well as the course of the development of Chinese classicl novel.
