缩短平均住院日对医疗质量与效益的影响

The effect and benefit of reducing ALOS on the medical quality in our hospital

目的观察缩短平均住院日对医疗质量、工作效率、病人费用、医院员工收入的影响。方法通过充分调研,找出影响平均住院日的主要因素(如检查预约、手术室紧缺和利用不充分等)。周密实施并采取必要的激励机制。结果平均住院日缩短在1．7天(由11．4天降至9．7天)的同时,工作效率提高,门急诊人次和出院病人数增加,医疗质量指标改善,病人费用降低而满意度提高,医院和员工收入提高。结论缩短平均住院日可提高医疗质量和工作效率,在降低病人费用的前提下通过增加工作量来提高医院和员工收入。

Objective To study the effect and benefit of reducing ALOS on the medical quality in our hospital. Methods Investigated the main influencing - factors of ALOS of our hospital, we checked our patients hy machine anytime rather than appointed time and enhance the utility rate of our operation room and so on. Results The ALOS of our hospital has been shorten to 9.7 from 11.4 days, and its indexes of work efficiency and medical quality ameliorated, and its medical fee of patients reduced, and the income of our hospital and personnel increased. Conclusion We can enhance our work efficiency and medical quality, benefit from and lower patients＇medical fee by shorten their ALOS.
