Numbers are quite often used in periodicals. To avoid the confusion in using numbers, the State Bureau of Technical Supervision has issued the standard of GB/T15835-1995. This standard makes a regulation on using numbers, which has a great influence on the standardization of using numbers in books and periodicals. But many people are unaware of this situation and the confusion of using numbers in articles,which is still a common problem. According to the national standard and relevant documents, this paper gives an introduction on how to use numbers correctly, which is a reference to enhance the standardization and regulation of college journals.
