从译本对比谈译者和读者的互动

摘要 现代翻译理论不仅对译者的研究有了进一步的深入,也对读者因素进行了考察。译者和读者都是翻译的主体,他们是互为对方为存在前提的,在具体的翻译实践中,体现了一种互动的关系。本文通过对《红楼梦》两个英语译本中典故的翻译进行对比来展示译者和读者的这种互动。 Both translators and readers are taken into consideration in modem translation theories. Being the subjects of translation, translators and readers interact with and depend on each other. This paper is trying to show the interaction between translators and rea ders by comparing the two English versions of Honglou meng.
