邓小平始终坚持理论与实践相结合,坚持实事求是与解放思想相统一,坚持原则性与灵活性相统一,坚持拿事实来说话,不搞争论,坚持实践标准与生产力标准相统一,从而领导我们开创并推进了建设中国特色社会主义的伟大事业,丰富和发展了马克思主义理论,而且为我们在新形势下怎样坚持实事求是提供了科学的方法。

Thanks to Deng Xiaoping＇s upholding fully the combination of theory and practice, of seeking truth from facts and emancipating minds, of principles and flexibility, of standards of practice and productive forces, and sticking to the principle that facts speak louder, we are led to build and advance socialism with Chinese characteristics, enrich and develop the theory of Marxism and obtain a scientific way of upholding the method of seeking truth from facts.
