摘要
铌酸锂相位调制器是实现锯齿波调制闭环光纤陀螺的关键器件。就钛内扩散铌酸锂相位调制器及其驱动电路不理想而导致的边带抑制进行了理论分析和仿真研究。重点讨论了调制器的偏振串扰对边带抑制影响的特点,提出了减小这类误差应采取的技术措施。这为提高闭环光纤陀螺标度因数的线性度提供了理论依据。
Ti:LiNbO3 phase modulator is the key device in closed-loop sawtooth modulation fiber-optic gyroscope. In this paper, sideband suppression limitation due to Ti:LiNbO3 modulator and its drive circuit is analysed and simulated. The discussion is focused on the effect of polarization crosstalk in Ti:LiNbO3 device, and some technical methods to decrease this effect are suggested. The work provides a theoretical basis for improving scale factor linearity in closed -loop gyroscopes.
