This article summaries the rise of historical philosophy and its early development, including three stages：the contemplative historical philosophy beyond humanism, historical philosophy in relation to the people of the present day and their development, and historical philosophy without reference to humanism. In doing so, the author hopes thatit will be beneficial for the protection of the scientific position of the science of history.
