Method of Updating Neighbor List for Handoff

在CDMA蜂窝移动通信系统的软切换过程中,要求BSS系统为每个小区维护一个邻区列表,保证移动台搜索邻区信号强度的效率。由于网络扩容、传输地形及环境变化等诸多因素的影响,导致网络拓扑结构发生变化,要求邻区列表也随之更新。该文提出了一种自动更新邻区列表的算法,可高效、准确地完成邻区列表的维护工作。

In the process of handoff in CDMA communication system, BSS system is required to maintain a neighbor list, which is used to ensure the efficiency when MS searches the signal. Due to the change of network topology structure, which is caused by the overspread of network, environment change and many other factors, neighbor list has to be updated accordingly. This paper provides an algorithm to update the neighbor list automaticallv to make the maintenance efficient.
