Impression of the Laba River

喇叭河，其名既命，初疑为因其声也，后问天全的文友，才知道是这条河状若喇叭。

The Laba （Loudspeaker） River runs in Tianquan County, Sichuan Province. Rising in Hongling, the highest peak in the south of the Erlang Mountain in the east, the river flows westward to Kangding County, which is known as the Home of Love Song and with the Baisha River Scenic Spot in the north. The river, a few meters wide runs for hundreds of miles and the water is so clear that one can see to the bottom. The breakers dash rattling on the boulders and thundering on huge rocks with white waves rising as high as a mountain. Then it meanders gently in the flat land. The water, emerald green and piercingly cold gurgles far away.
