Application of Gamma nail in treatment of femoral intertrochanteric fracture

目的总结Gamma钉治疗股骨粗隆间骨折的经验。方法22例股骨粗隆间骨折采用Gamma钉内固定手术治疗(EvansⅠ型1例,Ⅱ型3例,Ⅲ型11例,Ⅳ型7例)。结果经4￣15个月随访,平均8个月,疗效满意。结论术中尽可能恢复股骨粗隆后内侧皮质的完整性;正确的操作、固定钉恰当固定位置及加强术后功能锻炼是取得良好疗效的关键。

Objective To summarize our experience in application of Gamma nail for the treament of femoral intrertrochanteric fracture. Methods 22 cases with femoral intertrochanteric fracture were treated by Gamma nail internal fixation. There were lease of Evan type Ⅰ ,3 case of type Ⅱ , 11 of type Ⅲ and 7 of type Ⅳ.Results All the patients were followed up for 4 to 15 months with an average of 8 moths. Satisfactory effect was obtained. Conclusion The preserbvation of intact posterointemal cortex of femoral trochanter, the precise operation, the appropriate fixation of nails and intensive postoperative functional exercise are keys to obtain a satisfactory thecapeutic effect.
