Development of Cylinder Block Casting for TA1 Model Car Engine

摘要 TA1发动机缸体采用KW静压造型线造型,铸件水平浇注。砂芯全部为冷芯。浇注系统采用中注式,内浇道在曲轴轴承弧面处。采用热风冲天炉-工频炉双联熔炼,气压保温浇包浇注。浇注温度:1420 ̄1440℃。铸件工艺调试之前采用计算机对铸件的浇注过程、温度场分布、可能产生缩松的位置等进行了模拟,并对工艺进行优化,有效地缩短了铸件开发的周期和降低开发成本。 KW Seiatzu moulding line was adopted to produce mold for the cylinder block of TA1 model car engine. The casting was poured in horizontal position. All cores were made with cold box process. The casting was gated at its middle location with gates at every arc surface of crankshaft bearings. The iron is melted with cupola-main frequency furnace duplex process, and pouring was conducted with pneumatic insulated pouring ladle. Pouring temperature range was :1 420-1 440 ℃. Before the foundry method adjustment computer was used to simulate pouring process, temperature field and locations of the casting at which shrinkage maybe arise, and foundry method optimizing was conducted based on the simulation result. So the development period was effectively shortened, and the development cost was also reduced.
