Exploration on Teachers’ Cognition in College English Teaching Innovation and Change:A Case Study

摘要 随着认知心理学理论和研究方法在教师研究中的应用,教师认知研究成为一种新的教师研究范式。大学英语教学改革推行的包括使用现代教育信息技术在内的教学模式能否得以顺利的实施,关键在于教师。本文通过对三位大学英语教师所教英语综合课程的解析,探讨教师认知与决策研究这一课题,分析教师个体经验与教师的认知决策的关系以及教师认知与决策研究对大学英语教学改革的启示。 Teachers' cognition research has become a new paradigm in teachers' research. It is teachers who are decisive in the process of carrying out top-down curriculum innovation and change, including the application of modern information technology. This paper attempts to explore the relationship between teachers' cognition and their decision in practices, including IT-based instruction, in the hope of shedding light on the dynamic nature of teachers' pedagogical innovation and change which has not been much explored before.
