Strengthening and Improving University Students' Ideology Education by Putting People First

中共十六大为构建和谐社会的战略目标提出了“以人为本”的重要理念。中共中央、国务院为在大学思想政治教育工作中落实这一理念,联合发出了《关于进一步加强和改进大学生思想政治教育的意见》,为新时期加强和改进大学生思想政治教育指明了方向。要做到以人为本,加强和改进大学生思想政治教育,关键要把握“以人为本”的科学内涵,确立“全面提高人的综合素质”的教育观;掌握学生思想政治及其教育的状况,夯实“以人为本”理念的基础;创新方法,把“以人为本”理念落实在思想政治教育实践中。

The 16th Party Congress of CPC proposed the important idea of putting people first in order to construct harmonious society. The Central Committee of CPC, and the State Council sent out jointly About Further Strengthening and Improving University Students＇ Ideology Education to carry out the idea of putting people first which indicates the direction of strengthening and improving university students＇ ideology education in new period. To strengthen and improve university students＇ ideology education by putting people first, the key points are： to understand the scientific connotation of putting people first, to establish the idea of ＂comprehensively improving people＇s comprehensive quality＂, to know students＇ ideology and its education condition, to have the idea putting people first and method innovation, to connect the idea of putting people first with the ideology education practice.
