The Historical Development of the Communication Model——from code model to inferential model

会话交际活动在现实社会中极其普遍。交际模式经历了以下历史演变:从亚里士多德到现代符号学,传统的观点一直用语码模式分析和描述交际活动。20世纪五六十年代,关于交际的理论发生了一场革命性变革,格赖斯等人提出一种新的模式——推理模式。后来,斯波伯和威尔逊对格赖斯的推理模式进行了改进。其实,推理模式继承、发展、替代了语码模式。

Communication is very universal in our society. In this article the historical development of the communication model is analyzed from Aristotle to modem semiotics. All traditional theories of communication were based on code model. From 1950s the code model was substituted by the inferential model which was put forward by modem＇ philosopher Paul Grice etc. and developed further by Dan Sperber and Deirdre Wilson.
