On the Sustainable Development of the Small Cities and Towns in the Central Plains City Group

在“中原城市群”建设中,小城镇建设和发展举足轻重。如果只重视“城”和“市”的发展,忽略“镇”的发展,中原城市群只能是概念中的“经济圈”。从中原城市群中的“城市”与“城镇”的关系出发,论述大力推进小城镇发展对于中原城市群建设的作用,在此基础上,分析当前中原城市群中小城镇发展中存在的问题,以探求持续推进其发展的有效对策。

The construction of towns in the group is very important in the construction of the Central plains city group. If we pay attention to the development of ＂city＂ only and neglect that of the ＂town＂, Central Plains can only be an ＂economic circle＂ in concept. Proceeding from relation with cities and towns in Central Plains, the article expounds its cost-effective function for building the Central Plains city group. On this basis, the article analyzes the questions in the development of small town in ＂the Central Plains city group＂ and brings forward the effective countermeasures continuously.
