城市复兴——英国卡迪夫的经验及借鉴意义

城市复兴是转型社会和经济普遍需要面对的挑战。中国的经济也在转型过程中,不少城市同样面临复兴的问题。本文介绍了英国城市卡迪夫的复兴过程。通过卡迪夫的经验,本文提出城市复兴是将负担转化成为一种资产。因此我们所需要的不仅仅是物质环境的复兴,同时也是经济的复兴和城市管治的发展进程。整个复兴过程需要战略指导,需要各阶层的参与和支持。

Urban renaissance is the challenge that most of the transitional societies and economies have to face. Chinese society and economy is also under the process of transition, many of Chinese cites in fact meet similar problems and challenges. This paper tries to introduce and analysis urban renaissance in Cardiff for the arguments that urban renaissance is changing liability to asset. The process of urban renaissance is not only in physical environment, but also in economic context, It is required to apply urban governance in the renaissance. It is required to have strategic policies to guide the whole process and obtain the support from stakeholders.
