With the help of 2 year field monitoring, the deformation properties of soft foundation under large- scale progressive increase preloading were reveoled, and the deformation and consolidation settlement laws of soft foundation are obtained. The achieved results can provide a basis for the analysis and calculation of consolidation and settlement for soft foundation.
