Using ActiveX control provided by Visual C ＋＋ 6.0, the serial communication programs of data communication system （DCS） under Windows environment were developed conveniently. Using MSComm communication control in ActiveX controls to complete communication from supervisory PC to several single chip processors, the communication principles and protocols were introduced. The concrete implementation was explained by example.
