改革、市场化与中国地区差距的实证研究

A Positive Research on the Relationship between Reform Marketalization and Regional Disparity in China

利用1988—2003年的省级面板数据，运用条件收敛回归和弹性分析法，实证研究了市场化改革对我国地区经济差距的影响。结果发现：非国有经济的发展、对外开放的扩大以及政府从经济中的退出，均能显著促进地区经济的增长，提高人均收入；产业结构、城市化和人力资本也能在相当程度上解释我国的地区经济差距；物质资本投资的解释力较弱，而劳动参与率几乎没有解释力。

This paper makes a positive research of regional disparity using panel data of provinces from 1988 to 2003.We find that the development of non - state - owned enterprises, the opening and the dropping out of government from the economy can promote the economic growth and the per capita income. The result is conformable and robust, controlling a series of variables. And industrial structure, urbanization and human capital can explain the regional disparity to some extent, whereas the capital and the ratio of the employed to the labor can＇ t explain the disparity.
