企业的创新导致分工的产生,在不同的分工环节,同样因为企业创新导致企业利润的不同。由于存在交易费用,企业之间的学习和模仿需要成本和时间,这使利润不能迅速在产业中进行竞争性分配,其结果是形成非竞争的市场结构。由于受到产品生命周期的约束,这种非竞争性结构并不能完全被整体市场抹平,其结果是在产业中形成某种制度性结构,这个过程就是产业组织形式形成的过程。
