On Ji Kang's Music Ideas——Questioning on Sound without Dirge

嵇康的音乐思想,主要表现在他的文章《声无哀乐论》里,他认为音乐是属于外界的客观事物,哀乐是属于内心的主观感情,就是说音乐是客观存在的,声音只有快、慢、高、低的变化与和声的协调,人们听到音乐之所以发生丰富的情感变化也就是人们的哀乐,只是人们内在的情感变化与音乐并无直接的关系。

Ji Kang＇s music ideas, which are mainly manifested in sound without dringe, holds that music is objective things, belonging to exlerad world. Dirge involveds subjective emotions, that is to say music does exist as an objective reality. Sound has rhythm on harmony. People have changes of emotions when hearing music because of music itself but change of people＇ s inherent emotion.
