和谐的概念源于中国古代的哲学思想,表达了人们追求平等、安定、和谐的理想价值目标。当前和谐社会建设的构想正是这种传统和谐思想的继承和发展。公安机关是和谐社会的重要参与者、建设者和维护者,运用马克思主义哲学理论指导其内部和谐人文环境的构建,对于增强和形成公安机关的人文底蕴和人文精神,保障公安机关在和谐社会建设中有效地履行职能,具有十分重要的意义。

The concept of harmony originated from ancient Chinese philosophy ideology, expressing people＇s pursuit for ideal value objective of equality, stability and harmony. Confucian and Taoist religion expound their philosophy ideology and humanity idea by applying the concept of ＇ Harmony＇. The present proposition of constructing harmonious society is reborn from the succession and development of the traditional ideology of harmony. Public security organs are essential participants, builders and safeguards of harmonious society. Applying Marxian philosophy theories to direct the construction of harmonious humanity environment is of important meaning to strengthen and form humanity sense and spirit inside public security organs, and to ensure that they convert their functions in building harmonious society.
