PVM:一种垂直体系结构下的存储管理系统

摘要 现代操作系统中,以数据复制为基础的存储管理策略和封闭式存储管理机制阻碍了计算机系统的性能发挥。在垂直体系结构的基础上,实现一种新的存储管理系统PVM,改善存储管理系统的性能。首先给出系统模型和结构的设计;随后详细分析怠惰的虚地址空间管理、两级缓冲的物理内存管理;最后,对PVM系统的未来作了展望。 In modern operating system, memory management policies based on data-copying and hidden mechanisms blocked performance of computer system so that it cannot reach the speed of hardware. A brand-new memory management PVM which is under vertical architecture is introduced. Firstly, the model and architecture of PVM is described. Secondly, lazy management of virtual address space and management of two-layer-cached physical memory are analyzed. Lastly, the future of PVM is further discussed.
