随着高等教育的发展,校内公共设施,如地下给排水管线、电力线、道路、建筑、停车场、运动场等都面临着新建、扩建及更新换代的问题。因此,准确反映校内公共设施的基础数据显得尤为重要。地理信息系统、空间数据库技术及GIS集成开发技术为解决上述问题提供了强有力的工具。以长沙民政职业技术学院GIS开发为例予以介绍。
