Cross quality gap, practice hospital accreditation

回顾了1989年至1998年中国医院评审的历史;阐述了《医院管理评价指南(试行)》中医院管理、质量管理与持续改进、医疗安全、医院服务、医院绩效、部分统计指标、三级综合医院指标参考值等7个方面的基本内容;总结认为中国恢复医疗机构评审制度的时机已基本成熟,强调指出新一轮医院评审应遵循“质量、安全、服务、绩效”的指导方针,并把握好医院评审的实质是保障医疗质量与病人安全的质量认证这一切入点。

This article reviews hospital accreditation from 1989 to 1998 in China. And then, the authors analyze the index in 7 fields, including hospital management, quality management and continuous improvement, medical safety, hospital services, hospital performance, some statistic index and standard for tertiary hospitals. The authors believe that it is the time for the new round hospital accreditation in China. They also address to follow the principles of ＂quality, safety, service and performance＂. The beginning point of hospital accreditation should be to ensure medical quality and patient safety.
