Abstract cases of MS were studied by comparing CT and MRI.The results revealed that the incidence rate of MRI abnormalities was higher than CT in confirming the diagnosis of MS. MRI was more sensitive in displaying the lesions of cerebral hemispheres than the lesions of brainstem, cerebellum and spinal. The respective positive rates were 94.1%, 50%, 40%,20%.
